DuraTite Systems LLC invented and patented a quick connect, hand-safe start collar for forced air heating and cooling systems in the residential and light commercial HVAC markets. DuraTite collars are UL Classified and replace the metal tab, stick-on, and spin in collars used in the past. The DuraTite collars were the first product introduced in the company’s line which will further expand into other energy efficient, green building products for the HVAC industry in the near future. The collars are molded right in Erie and are selling across the country as well as in several key markets abroad.
